Since you posted your question in the flatbed subforum -- were you looking specifically for a flatbed carrier -- or flatbed work?
If you have not driven commercially in the last year or two -- you will very likely have to sign up with a starter/beginner fleet.
Western Express would probably hire you -- & they offer both dry van & flatbed options.
If we knew where you reside (like a valid zip code) -- other possible suggestions would be much easier....

Most anywhere will hire after 5+ years, you will have a harder time if you have no experience, or other violations/accidents on your record. A few like TMC are 10+ys, but a vast majority will look at you at 5ys. Landstar, mercer, PGT, P&S, CRST, JRC, Keim, PTI, Carrier One, and any one of the 200+ eastern-european chicago outfits if you're looking for an adventure. There's more that i'm leaving out but those came to mind. I have a 3.5yr alcohol related traffic infraction (non-criminal) considered less severe than DUI/DWI in a personal vehicle and can't most won't even consider it even with an otherwise clean record. I'm talking no accidents or other violations in 20+ys. Truck and Trailer paid for.
