I happened by while they were sucking out a sump the other day and smelled it— asked the operator “You smell that?”
Him— yeah
Me— think you ought to check it out?
Him— what do I check?
Me— maybe the temp gage
Him— which one is that?
Me— for F sake
They were loading it so hard that it was puking antifreeze out the overflow— hit the engine fan and got everything calmed down and showed him how to run it and there ain’t been a problem since— lack of proper training is what it was

 

Operator error due to negilant management training.

 

Tractor driver hit a light pole,shaking out the transformer and the other switch gear?
Musta been an old J.I. Case tractor, with that long exposed steering gear on the left side.
Can't turn right with one of them at the fence row, snag a post and wire and all come dragging.

 

The dude is a 23 year old kid with a brand new CDL, a 19 year old wife and a kid and he’s trying hard — I couldn’t find it in my heart to chew his ### and I was trying hard to do it— he just needed some direction

 

Where oh where did the coolant go?????
