Replace harness

Had a squealing belt, so told shop to check it out since truck was laready there. I figured it was going to be belt or tensioner
Volvo dealer is telling me
The engine harness pass thru, is leaking onto the belts. Due to age of truck 2013 with 1.1mil. They say replace harness and not plugs? Almost $4300, and I didnt even no it was leaking.
