Update: I downgraded my license in September. No longer a CDL holder. Persistent Arthritic Right Knee made the decision logical.

wishing you the best sir. You gave it one heck of a run and honestly you'll find something new if you haven't found it already to get into.

In your automobile you can have the gas pedal switched to the left side.

Anyone on here still with Leonard's Express? Just wondering how they're doing? I've been off the road for 3+ years now.

I'm still volunteering as a DJ at our church's radio station. They call me weekday mornings at 8am EST and we cut up for a few minutes. Then I go in and do a live song request call-in show M-F from 11am-1:25pm EST. We call it: The Daily Manna Show.

We play mostly Southern Gospel, and mix in a little Bluegrass, and a few Hymns.

If anyone wants to download our free app it's: Landmark Radio Ministries. You can get it on Google Play, the Apple Store, and Roku.

We have 3 stations on our app:
Gospel 90.3 (English) which is what I do
    Radio Landmark (Spanish)
    Bible Scouts Radio (Children's channel)

We also have podcasts on the app if anyone likes Baptist preaching.

My hands have gotten better, probably 95% sensitivity and 95% flexibility.

My knees are not good, especially the right knee. I really need to lose some weight, but it's not easy with bad knees. My VA doctor says that if I go through their required nutrition classes, she could probably give the weight loss shots.

My wife had a heart attack last spring. We didn't know it was a heart attack. After the heart attack, she started retaining a bunch of fluid and having trouble breathing.

She spent a week in the hospital, and got diagnosed with Congested Heart Failure. Right Coronery Artery was 100% blocked. They confirmed that she had a heart attack. Her Ejection Refraction rate was only 35%.

Through prayers, medicine, rehab, diet, and stopping smoking, her Ejection Refraction rate has bounced back to 60%, which is close to normal.

She was on oxygen for several months but has weaned off of it. She's pretty much back to her old self.

I guess that's all for now.

That’s great your wife is doing better. Hopefully yours and her health trends in the right direction. I left and came back. But not very happy. Things are different the money doesn’t justify being away from home. And they’re expecting ring us to drive after sitting and waiting all day. Like when in the shop. Contemplating going back local. For the crappy money might aswell, least then know where parking truck. Would have healthy food options clean bathrooms and showers. I mean if toilet and shower at home are a little dirty Atleast it’s known who’s dirt it is. Right? They’re doing a lot of local stuff and it’s affecting otr drivers pay too. Trucking as a whole is in the crapper though. No surprise. Same ol’ bs same ol lies.

You’ve been climbing some significant mountains. Glad to hear you’re on the upswing.

Your southern gospel mention brought back memories of my last job before I started driving back in the mid-90s. Southern Gospel DJ. Kinda miss those days.

Best wishes to you and your wife!
