Reminds me of a time,,,,,I was green, REALLY GREEN, late 70s, picking up a load in a covered dump trailer in Bridgman, Mi., crossed the New Buffalo on 94 scale, empty, had the green light, just get past the signal, it turns red, I figured for the truck behind me, I kept going. I get halfway down the ramp, look in my mirror, I see this fat cop waddling out to his cruiser, and he comes after me, Code 3. I pulled off before the highway, and this guy was Buford T. Justice, to the T. He ORDERS me to follow him to the next exit, turn around, come back past the scale to the next exit, turn around, and back into the scale. All that time, I'm trying to fill out the log and drive with my knees. He reams me out for not stopping and something about my bingo card ( remember those?) wasn't right. I tried to go around every scale I could.:salute:

I got a good chuckle out of that. back in 2000 I drove past the POE in Laramie, Wy and got chased and made to go back. While they were reaming me and checking my logs, one Trooper goes, "Boy, you cant draw a straight line to save you life, can you?" I replied ,"You try drawing a straight line with all those pot holes you had me hit on the way back!" They both laughed, then yelled at me some more and gave me a $180 parting gift and away I went.
