I do it after when then panel is fixed and not moving/flexing anymore.

 

That was kind of my thoughts as well. Never done bodywork before so this is all new to me. At least if it doesn't turn out nice a shiny air cleaner will distract from it.

 

That's more my experience with Maryland. Going anywhere orther than dropping down through from PA to WV on 81 makes me sweat. Not great luck. One of my last runs through there on 270, I had a trailer that had just had an annual and some repairs done on it. Dang if they didn't come up with something with a wheel seal..and since it was fresh, I could assume they made it happen, but can't prove it. Bad luck is what I figure, but Michigan is usually pretty cool...or he was just busy that day and was just there for the chase rather than the kill.

 

And I won't disagree with you, either, they are. They're the Sodom/Gomorah of the state.
