Nope they sent me to McCook and now I'm going to Detroit. If they try that West Middlesex nonsense I'm going to bed. Get somebody what to do it

Ok guys so here's the day yesterday...
Indianapolis West, IN - Chicago, IL (192 miles)
McCook, IL - Detroit, MI (275 miles)
Detroit, MI - Toledo, OH (58 miles)
Stormed the entire rest of the day. I got wet and all kinds of stuff. Starting my day now going back to Detroit. Idk what it is man but it just seems like they never have ANY freight getting you away from up here. Very frustrating.Speedy356, navypoppop and Rugerfan Thank this. -
Hitting all of the garden spots....48Packard, Speedy356 and navypoppop Thank this.

Terminal about 15min from my house, the construction on Rt80 both directions is getting ready for another nightmare of a season.
3 days in a row there have been wrecks in same general area 2-4mm on W bound side for no apparent reason, all have been solo units flopped over on the right side yesterday was a jackknife on dry pavement that closed down for hrs.
Friend of mine has ran out of that terminal for I'm guessing close to 20yrs now, kid down the road from me has been a mechanic there for around 10yrs now.
Don't ever hear them talking yit about that place, maybe they just keep there nose to the ground & tell themselves 1 day closer. -
Bro that terminal is just evil man lol. I like to stay away from it as much as I can. That terminal is why I got off the board 6 years ago.

Get up here to Fargo sometime!!! Let me know if you do.

055 that's my old home terminal. Actually debating about trying to go back to Estes. If I do I want to run the road though. No more West Middlesex to Brooklyn for me haha.

Bro I'd love to be out there. I make great money out there, but they just won't send me man. Here's my day yesterday. I almost blew up yesterday I was so upset in the beginning. This may be long so bear with me. So...
Here's the gist of yesterday everyone.
Toledo, OH - Detroit, MI (58 miles)
Detroit, MI - Flint, MI (81 miles)
Flint, MI - Toledo, OH (108 miles)
Toledo, OH - Columbus, OH (139 miles)
Columbus, OH - Louisville, KY (200 miles)
Keep in mind, there was so much time wasted because central wouldn't pick up the phone. The people in the office were useless. Every time I show up they just say call Central. To be fair, whoever that guy was up in central, he's the only reason I got this far. I explained to him my frustration with what's been going on and he understood.
After that conversation, I was planned up from Toledo on down. My samsara was messed up so I couldn't just get the messages. It's been a grueling week for sure. Even after all this, I think I'll end up with barely 2500 or 2600 miles after two STRONG starting days. The guy in Central admitted there's no freight over here.
I asked him, "well why I'm the hell am I here?" I don't understand why they refuse to send me West where I can easily run 600 miles a day. The terminal hopping combined with the time waiting to even get information is very frustrating. Again, I remained professional and didn't blow up.
I love Estes, but the shenanigans of the east coast are just very frustrating. Thank god I stayed away from that evil terminal 055 (West Middlesex).Speedy356, Gearjammin' Penguin, Gomer1969 and 1 other person Thank this. -
My friend who runs linehaul up here only goes to Minneapolis. They have runs to Minneapolis, Bismarck and Belfield that I know of. You’d probably end with a Billings which is right around 610 miles from here.
They gotta get you out of that east coast rut brother.
