I do not need the additional capacity of the AGM, but the factory put AGM batteries in this thing for start and apu. I have.....heard:confused: that AGM uses a bit different charge voltage and rate. But my long experience with flooded wet cells has been that they are pretty forgiving on charge rates.
If I put sealed flooded deep cycles in this thing replacing the factory AGMs, am I looking at trouble?

    JMon Thanks this.

I did that in my 2017 pete, my 2012 ram and my 2017 lonestar. Long as you arent mix and matching its fine and honestly AGMs are a better longer lasting battery anyway. They are also vastly better in the cold then nearly anything else you can get. Well dollar.for dollar anyway. There are some bettery batterys but the price is retarded.

My use and weather are quite favorable, so I'm thinking SLAs will be the way I'll go. I'm sure soon we'll see LiFePO4 be the shtuff, and AGMs will be the price of SLAs now.
