Finally at melton

Congrats James! Glad to see that you are still at it and happy with them. Your positive attitude goes a long way. Keep it up.

 

I did exactly 2 years at Melton when I was new and I still use those fundamentals every day. I look back and enjoyed it too. Good job

Hey by chance how many people failed out of orientation when you went to melton orientation

 

Hey how many guys did you start with?

 

Not OP, but two years ago we started with 40ish. We only lost a handful during orientation, though my trainer told me that a bunch more typically drop out during road training, and then even more during the first couple of trips or so once they're out on their own and in combination all of that adds up to a majority of the class. They don't really fail you out of orientation (other than one dude who couldn't get the tarp on the trailer, and another couple on the backing/road test) so much as people actually try their hand at securement and tarping, and decide it isn't for them.
