A little 16L Volvo work. Really good engines honestly, just a huge PITA (for me) to work on.
Deere hunter, singlescrewshaker, MACK E-6 and 11 others Thank this. -
Have one of those on my watchlist. What's the hard part? The room to work on it?

We had one in North Georgia like that Officer Berket. Everybody called him bend over Berket . If he stopped you , might as well go ahead and bend over. He has since retired.CAXPT, singlescrewshaker, Feedman and 7 others Thank this.

Access to the valve cover is a pain. Have to remove the doghouse, and the coolant resevoir on top of the normal accy's.
The cam gear is in the back. The overhead uses proprietary shims to adjust, and the rocker assembly is one piece. The rocker shaft is a single shaft roughly the size of a 60 series camshaft, with 4 rockers for every cylinder. It is extremely heavy.
I found this truck for a customer in 2019. It's a good looking (for a Volvo) 2012 VNL mid roof heavy spec truck. D16, 18 Spd, heavy rears. It had the Cat powered APU, diesel heater, and 344k miles when we bought it on Auctiontime for 19k$.
It's got 900k miles now, and we had to put #2 injector in. Still uses no oil. Only other repairs have been a clutch, and it had inj cups at 500k.CAXPT, singlescrewshaker, Feedman and 11 others Thank this. -

@Oxbow Justin sent you a thing on Snapchat(?) to your phone. He was solo dump following a flatbed down Winona Grade watching the trailer hanging off the turns in the WIDE part at the top- "this isn't going to end well...."- driver rolled er down the hill. Load (cedar) stayed on the trailer! I can't figure out how to post that stuff here
