I’m at one now was just looking around putting feelers out probably gonna stay another year and retire to Florida next fall

Yep you’re correct, PTP(point to point) and LTL( location to location) sometimes Ashley would be more concerned with picking up 3rd party freight than supplying the drop yards, if you’re not domiciled at a DC you work remotely out of a drop yard, not uncommon for you to go pickup your own delivery load because they’d utilized the PTP drivers to the max

It was just a joke @firemedic2816 what area are you looking at, central Florida is nuts right now, north Florida and the panhandle are still pretty peaceful.

 

I know, haha we’ll have a job waiting with the mouse if I want it( not as nice as the one was offered few yrs ago well into the 6 figure range, but MRS at the time was hell bent on not going)
Then got to thinking near a large body of water would be nice maybe, not to particular left side or right side still have some time
