Needing a replacement front cover for a Big Cam 1. Tried sifting through several used covers off cores but the last three have hairline cracks. This company offers a new one and the description says ‘94 and older N14 and NT855. I’m assuming this is compatible with what I’m needing but it’s not my money that’s being spent. I assumed N14, all the way back to the BC1 used the same front cover and the small cams were different. 2181884279714991069.jpeg 680712333207984314.jpeg

N14 cover has a bigger bore for assy drive. Big cam assy drive in smaller diameter

I do not know 100% but I know this. The one in my picture assy drive leaked. There are two different seals for different shafts in the N14 and I had installed the wrong one.

I’ve got a seal that came with the in frame kit. Oddly enough, the kit came with the seal but not the “L” shaped plug to stop oil from leaking through the keyway, of the shaft.
So it’s my understanding that the accessory drive shaft is a larger diameter for any and all N14’s vs NT444, Series IV, III, II and 1?

Never say always and always say maybe. However I never saw anything without an L seal on a big cam. All ready told you there are two different ones for N14's. Cummins seals have a number on them. Do you have the old one?
