Was Nelson Sensenigs. He totaled it last week. 17 year old family friend of his coming toward him went straight on a curve, ended up under the landing gear. Killed instantly. Nelson was fine, but the truck is irreparable. Kinked both frame rails under the bunk IMG_1122.jpeg IMG_1123.jpeg

That is awesome. Both my kids were part of the hillbilly association growing up. They made fun of us kinda cause I had a big ### ol steel trailer with living quarters that would kill a dually but them Pete’s brought it in an out no problem. It was cheap like 5k cheap when an aluminum living quarters was 50 and up. Not to mention coming outta them places them dually’s didn’t stand a chance. Especially the ArkMo show.

That's something some people don't understand when they chrome up their truck. There is such a thing as too much.

IMG_0824.jpeg Showed up on my memories today, we had made it back to Joplin. My wife come up to see us and ended up doing my laundry while I used Doc for a pillow. I don’t miss truckin that hard. I do miss a lot of other things. I’ll also say I am fortunate I was out there and not wishing. After this round I wish a little less. Being a hay farmer may just suit me

The running joke in my part of the world is "don't wanna look like a 'Jersey garbage hauler"...

A few repairs and patches and a krylon overhaul and this old chute may last another 15 years. PXL_20260419_232657515.jpg PXL_20260419_232642883.jpg
