The day I believe that I completed my last coast to coast top to bottom run. excluding south east cant have everything. About 7500 miles. Averaging 750 miles per day, No Loading or unloading, Just back in, in fact not even allowed to see the loads, They secure, close and lock n seal everywhere I went. 3 of the location we were not allowed out of the tractor at all. Anyway seemed like spent too long getting it done, but no control of loading or unloading. Made for a fun last training run,and end to a career spaning alot of things in our industry.
Last tractor, 1995 Long Nose 379, pulling a 48' Stainless Utility Old School, 3406E, Eaton Fuller 18-speed with 3:36 rears, old school compaired to todays truck, Made the trip just stroll'in down the highway.Last edited: Apr 20, 2026
