He mentioned in an earlier thread that he has a cat he wants to bring with him plus he uses a cpap to sleep. That’s why I suggested local until he gets some experience.

Ugly sides of trucking...
Even if you do everything right, you can still find yourself in a dangerous situation. I was driving in Iowa. Thunderstorms were an hour away. I was 7 minutes from parking just outside of Waterloo. Out of nowhere, a rotational funnel came out of a field on my right hand side and flipped my truck. I slid on the driver's side for 200 feet. Traumatic amputation of left middle and ring fingers. Huge laceration in my forearm. Road rash on my palm and forearm. Pinky and index fingers had crush fractures. 10 months on medical leave to recover. Just recently returned to work. My experience was a freak accident that is unlikely to happen to any person. But, unforeseen acts of God can happen at any moment.
The first photo is my hand about a month after the accident. The other two photos is my hand right now.Attached Files:

If you mean you're gonna show up on the scene to help 4 wheelers change tires, or give them a ride to the next gas station, forget it.
You won't have time for that crap due to the unstoppable 14 hr clock.
You can't have unauthorized riders in your truck.
Everybody has a phone and/or Triple A, they can get help.
Absolutely no reason to stop for someone in a well populated area.High Stepper Thanks this. -
First of all, welcome back.
Second, and I realize this is totally none of my business, but if you feel like sharing, I AM curious....
Did you have your left window open and your arm out, or did the window break when you flipped over?
