Are you sure it’s the oil pan gasket ? When I purchased my 2014 with the ISX 15, I thought exactly the same thing. It was all oily around the pan. When I got home, I pressure washed the whole motor clean, I started the truck and let it run for a few and behold, the gasket from the fuel pump was the culprit. Not a drop from the oil pan.

Or it could be the front main seal. On ISx15s especially. The oil will leak down and run along the pan.

Its a perfectly fine price. Have u ever tried to wrestle an isx oil pan off? Its not very fun.. incredibly heavy and awkward and like 20 something bolts to tighten and torque... And yes the book calls for some anarobic sealer to be installed on all 4 corners of the pan...
I mean you could do the job urself. But $300 isnt that bad...

Oh yeah, make sure you torque it back to the correct specs and order. Then check it because the #### things will often vibrate loose. It's not hard, just a pain in the ###.

    Oldman83 and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
