    For me it’s a bit difficult to explain how I secured my loads, like I mentioned above, I look at weight and figure it from there, hence, I always use an extra securement pulling backwards in case if an emergency hard braking occurs(rare). For example, if my load calls for 5 chains, 3 will be pulling back with certain loads.

    Oops you are right. I totally had a brain fart over the wll being cut in half for direct securement

    I know a few guys who would totally just 4 point that 40k machine. Used to work with a couple of them.

    I was amazed when I went into the yard one weekend to find one of those 8x8 military transporters sitting on a step deck fresh all the way from California with 4 3/8 chains on it.
