I've had the frightliner show in red while driving at speed showing Collision alert! I don't understand how and what it thought it was going to run into.. Last year in a different sate on I-84 it was always the right lane same spot would get the warning.

The other stuff I don't mind is lane following distance.. yes you the 4 wheeler I can see how fast you got in front of me, how far you are and the following distance.. I had a BMW driver cross in front of me doing 126 MPH on the NJ turnpike last night.. if safety maybe you can predict he might crash up ahead.

    That’s not how they work

You’ll never pull one down far enough to shift a whole gear in the main…..well I guess with stupid anything is possible

The D ratio Aux is also

    Double under
    Under
    Direct
    Over

    The C is
    Crawler
    Double under
    Under
    Direct

That’s just 2 of the 4 total ratio sets on your standard 1241 box.

The poll is no longer open, but count me in with the rest. These new safety features aren’t worth it. They keep you frustrated all day. Beep beep beep.

With all these added distractions, what actually matters that you'd want to be aware of and aren't currently made aware of? And if you wanted to be made aware of it, how? Obviously the additional pings or robotic voice doesn't help...

I just want to be left alone. That’s why most guys drive truck. We don’t need the safety sensors and beepers and we don’t want it. We’re going to be the ones responsible if we get in a wreck anyway, so why have stuff going on out of our control?
