The Old Man's career dries up, Snackbar transfers to Crete from Shaffer

Think they got rid of them. Haven't gotten any across Iowa either last couple times i went through.

Nope..not mine..found it sitting there…not sure what happened…I’m thinking possibly someone backed into it..otherwise idk…there is major def on the ground next to for sure..

 

Does anyone know where the crete terminal in Lafayette, IN was? I never made it there, but they had it since I started driving.

 

I forget the exact address but it was waaay off the interstate. Was a very small "terminal" the shop was a 2 bay non pull through mess. Either you backed a trailer in for tire work or they came out into the yard. Each bay could barely fit a bobtail. Last time I was there, the office was closed, no personell at all. Just a trailer with a bathroom and a couch. I don't remember a shower. There was a single pump fuel island with the external fuel tank right next to it. They required a shop guy to come out to fuel and record everything on a clip board. I don't remember exactly when it closed but I think it was around '04 or '05, but i may be wrong.

I chose route via Atlanta,and down 75.
Other option was 231 out of Montgomery.
