Here is an average of my current numbers at a mega doing dry van:
    39hrs/wk
    82% of that is Driving
    1,800 miles/wk
    $930/wk
    That's all at 51cpm
If I stick with it it'll be a $45,000 year.

Slow on freight right now. They have no loads to offer many times...I have had some good 65hr weeks, but between truck repairs and slow freight within the company the average is 39.

Shoot, when I was doing local work for 10 Roads Express I was getting $40/hr for 35hrs/wk. Now I'm only getting $23/hr. But at least I don't have to pay $1800/mo in Denver rent now that I'm OTR.

hope not dumb twucker Thanks this.

Which company is this one? If they are a bad company, with a write up in the bad company section, should we not inform prospective drivers? How long have you been working there?

Oh it's an obvious big one. And it's not bad, but between slow freight and 2 weeks waiting for mechanics the above numbers are my realistic numbers. I've been on 9 months...5 months in 2019 and 4 this year.

51 cents per mile is ridiculous. 1,800 miles? I’d be bored. That’s 3.5 days’ work at my company, plus they get 75 cents per mile and $120 stop pay for four stops each day. I’m on the clock, but that’s what the routes pay. They average $2,000 per week, and half of them only have six months of driving experience. Sixty-hour weeks for $96K. When I worked full time, I made $90K just driving a yard goat spotting trailers. You’re getting taken advantage of at that place.

You may need to change dispatchers, or go to a smaller company.
