When you mounted the tire,
they went after the rubber band thingies
that covered the spokes, and B4 the tube.
Held the edge of the tire out against the rim.
Yes, that old - had a tube.
Fatal flaw was cooling the center cylinder.
Frame blocked the airflow.

The 3 clamps go in BEFORE the rubber band spoke protectors, then the tube.

The worst part about a steer blowout on a truck with a lift axle is you don’t have a prayer of steering the truck unless you’re quick enough to pick the axle up. Once the steer tire goes there’s that much more weight on that side of the lift axle and that’s the direction it’s going to self steer toward.

Certainly a cement trucks, they carry cement, sand and water. Here in Cali there mainly used for gunite loads.
