I do a lot of drop and hooks that require empty trailers to have load locks in them, because, duh. I have been picking up more and more trailers that weren't packed with load locks. Or picking up empties that don't have spare load load locks. God forbid you drop a trailer that doesn't have them, but don't expect these people to use them. It's a scam. Dock workers selling them for drugs or something, keeping you longer at the dock. I don't know. I am just tired of it.

That's been going on a long time.
Ask "Where are the load locks?" and the answer usually is, "Another driver picked them up."hope not dumb twucker Thanks this. -
A very long time. We had one driver lose ten at one receiver; it was a drop-and-pickup 24 hours later deal. It was all on their security system. Once the trailer was empty, it was moved out of the dock, then a driver parked his truck and trailer at the end of the row and got into the first 5 trailers, removing straps, LL, and shoring bars, about 50 items total. We filed a complaint with the sheriff, they contacted the company that owned the truck, and then all of it was returned to the receiver. The company was banned from all company sites, too.Bean Jr., Albertaflatbed and Chinatown Thank this.

Since I've painted them fluorescent orange the lost/theft went way down.
Albertaflatbed, Getsinyourblood, FullMetalJacket and 3 others Thank this. -
I painted a couple to match the truck for the same reason.
Had the old pallet jack painted to match too but I haven’t done the new one yet, plus it stays with my pallet of crap with my name written on itAlbertaflatbed and FullMetalJacket Thank this. -
Used to do that but they would still disappear. Godawful orange and nobody wants them. LOL
