Load Lock Scams

That's been going on a long time.
Ask "Where are the load locks?" and the answer usually is, "Another driver picked them up."

 

A very long time. We had one driver lose ten at one receiver; it was a drop-and-pickup 24 hours later deal. It was all on their security system. Once the trailer was empty, it was moved out of the dock, then a driver parked his truck and trailer at the end of the row and got into the first 5 trailers, removing straps, LL, and shoring bars, about 50 items total. We filed a complaint with the sheriff, they contacted the company that owned the truck, and then all of it was returned to the receiver. The company was banned from all company sites, too.

 

Since I've painted them fluorescent orange the lost/theft went way down.

 

I painted a couple to match the truck for the same reason.

Had the old pallet jack painted to match too but I haven’t done the new one yet, plus it stays with my pallet of crap with my name written on it

 

Used to do that but they would still disappear. Godawful orange and nobody wants them. LOL
