There's maybe some merit to the argument that I should have had better ventilation in the shop to reseal the roof on the motorhome.
But it's done now even if I am higher than the grocery bill. -

Other than an aluminum intake and possibly some cast headers he’s leaving it stock. This isn’t the average everyday 455 from that time period, it’s the high torque version and he’s basically leaving as it was. The original Holley 750 dual line is already built and the intake is there in the box. Engine was rebuilt years ago with low miles but has been setting for 40+ years in the garage. Pistons were stamped 0.30…. -
Fertilizer on ..waitin on drills to get goingJolliRoger, 7-UP, Speedy356 and 10 others Thank this. -
Probably the best way to go. Those engines were torque monsters. 500 plus lb-ft stock.

Engine came in a 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix model SJ, which his dad had bought brand new. Car was sold to a family member about 1982, wrecked, then bought back all in 1 year. I was 18 the last time the 67 GTO was out of the garage after transferring the 455 over in the GTO….sawmill, JolliRoger, cke and 3 others Thank this. -
