East of Indiana ain’t my area of expertise. Been there a few times, but routing didn’t matter. Company says no PA turnpike, I get it too much $$$$. East bound from 70, should I drop on 40 or 79 to get to I-68?

They give you routing if you go to routes and go to the shipper it should show the route in text. I'm not sure if you have to follow it to a T but I usually at least stay close to it. Sometimes their routing has you take the PA turnpike when another route isn't efficient. Personally I would never take I-68 because it's too hilly and winding.navypoppop and Lonesome Thank this.

Personally, I'd take I-40 all the way to I-81. Take the scenic route from Winchester, Va over to Frederick. I-70 from Frederick into Baltimore.
-
The routing just says I-70 to I-68, then it’s I 95 etc.

76 isn’t exactly flat and straightxlsdraw Thanks this.

I-79 south to I-68 East at Morgantown. I-68 is just an arduous route with a heavy load but it's worth taking at least once. Don't mess with 40.trucknguy Thanks this.

I just looked up the price calculator for the pike and it’s $27 from new Stanton to breezewood. I think they can carry that burden
-
Are you sure? Last I checked it was over $100 lol

All the way across is like $140 with ez pass.

Ah, I see. I guess if you're not going all the way across 76 then it's not too bad.
