I'd love to sit down and have lunch with him! The longest I've ever stayed at one place was 6 years. I average 2 years. I get bored and want to learn new things and its the best way to up your pay(in my experience) Cryo is a different area , of course.

Does food grade tanker count as “tanker” experience in the cryogenic world?

Just curious because i believe Linde was advertising 3 years experience or 2 if you have tanker experience to get hired.Friend and viper822004 Thank this.

Having some tanker experience can make you a little familiar with tankers of where tankers can go to deliver product(Plants and factories and the challenges of navigating tank farms and the odd ball customers that take 10 pull ups to get your darn tank swung over enough to get near the fill line. and how they handle and the unique characteristics of them versus Someone with no experience, but its not drastic. You go through extensive training and you wont be released until your trainer is satisfied you know your stuff and can handle your equipment. Linde doesnt mess around, as I'm sure the others dont either.snowbird_89, Friend, Dennixx and 3 others Thank this.

I saw a comment in here that Kenan Advatage group was the swift of the tanker, I saw they have an energy division and just curious if that’s a true statement?

I wanted to upload a video of a kag driver I observed at a customer. He got out and hooked up with no ppe at all. And just kept hammering on the fitting. If that wasn't swift like, then what is?JForce28 and viper822004 Thank this.

Was thinking of getting into cryogenic hauling, but from what I've gathered from this thread, almost every waking hour is working, subject to HOS limits, of course. Is there such a thing as a 40 to 55 hour week in this industry?
viper822004 Thanks this.
