i have 2 trucks but i am the only one working
2013 cascadia with 12.7 preemission detroit that was installed by mechanic and has probably arount 300k on it since rebuild/install , 13 speed , new water pump , performance turbo , ecu tuned by leon , manifold.
decent brakes and tires , suspension is good , alligned , overall good working horse
2009 kw t660 with 7cz , 13 speed , tuned , stage 2 or 3 turbo , Kurt tuned it , matching michelins all over with probably half life , aligned , new divider , new clutch , upgraded turbo , new tanks , half fenders , rear tail panel , visor , steer air ride , new brakes , chambers , shocks , APU , new side boxes , new batteries , 430k on c16 with paperwork
just trying to figure out which one to sell and how much realistically i can get , i am thinking to keep one of them and since diesel is 5 bucks per gallon - probably keep cascadia since it does 7mpg all day long , but kw last 3 months did between 6.25 to 6.85 hand calculated and so much fun to drive with all that power.
kw been painted around 2020 both trucks been driven by me 80% of the time and maintained with one shop whole time except engine work (same shop did engine swaps for both)
i thought about keeping both trucks in case one gets broken , but one is just sitting still and driven once a month just to keep everything in order

Keep the Yellow motor and get rid of the Crapadia.

Resale value is low on trucks right now. You’ll probably lose more selling the KW. Freightliners are just low value always anyway. I’d probably keep the one I felt most comfortable with mechanically tho at the end of the day.

If you’re the only one driving, I’d probably keep the Cascadia. 7 mpg every day with fuel this high is hard to ignore, and it sounds like a good working truck.

    pavrom Thanks this.

7 mpg vs 6.25 I'd keep the KW and enjoy driving it.
