I never said merging traffic had the right of way. I said just because you have the right of way doesn't mean you have to stay bullheaded and force the issue. Slowing down is the right thing to do but a lot of you drivers would run over your mother before you lifted off of your 65 mph governor lol. It's called courtesy and it's lacking out here amongst so called professionals as much as it is the motoring public. Creating congestion by slowing down to allow someone in? I think I've heard it all now.

 

Let me put it this way - if you see a situation developing where an accident might happen and you have the right of way but you don't yield it then an accident results, did you win a prize?

And you forgot to mention the 45 MPH speed limit in the neverending construction zones.
