"The cause of the crash is under investigation."
Any guesses as to cause? Speed? Inattention? Bad brakes? Lack of skill?

Maybe all of the above at once??
Some of the S curves in that gorge aren’t exactly forgiving, even less so if you’re trying to fly through there.Flat Earth Trucker, drvrtech77, Tall Mike and 1 other person Thank this. -
55mph speed limit in the gorge, so guessing that dude was rolling 65mph + and couldn’t make one of the curvesFlat Earth Trucker, mjd4277 and TurkeyCreekJackJohnson Thank this.

Imo 65% chance of the following. Doing 65+, had his feet on the dash, was watching youtube on his phone, there is only a 50/50 chance he could even read english so may have been unable to read the warnings or just yoloed it.
30% achohol and or drugs were involved.
2.5% chance it was a suicide attempt.
2% chance rhe dude fell asleep
.5% chance it was mechanical failure.
