Delivery run was from Delta, Montrose then over to Durango. After the side of the mountain fell, making the road one lane for some time. I started going the long way around. Found that time was almost the same, added like 50 miles.

I always go around too. Too many idiots on that road paying attention to other things. It's fine runnin, just not for me in the truck.

I've fished a good bit in the Atlantic and the gulf . It seems like it was always called dolphin until probably the 80's . Like you stated restaurants and seafood sales changed it to mahi . It's one of my favorites.

When I was stationed in Gulfport in the late seventies it was called Dolphin. Then in 78 I deployed to an island in the South Pacific where they called it Mahi Mahi. A few years later I was in Hawaii where it was also called Mahi. So I assumed that it was an Atlantic/Pacific thing back then.

You’d probably just put me to work— you should see what they’ve done to Thompson Creek — haven’t been there since last November and it’s pretty amazing

I was pretty darg close to P- town when I lived there in pickins and also lived in Norris, semi close to Clemson. It was always a treat seeing those collage sorority ladies on the weekends.
