Any info on RousCar & Sons logistics? Running for GenOx Transportation.

Seeing a lot of decent pay team positions popping up in my area and a bit concerned how they’re structured re GenOx. Their DOT registration is fairly new. Just curious if anyone knows what’s going on here or if they’re just literally a newly formed carrier that recently got leased on to GenOx because they’re primarily looking for teams.

Still interested in real world insight to either company but so far my confirmations are it’s a 1099 team job that requires 5 days unpaid orientation in Deer Park, TX. To be fair I can’t comfirm if room board is taken care of at this point.
ChatGPT came up some some reviews this year of someone complaining of nonpayment but it’s either behind a Glassdoor paywall or I couldn’t get the direct link from their aggregate findings. The W2 equivalent comes out to $1600 week per calcs in my state re deductions so not liking too good.

 

Well, I did actually find a video with a one of the owners being interviewed and after reading through most of the comments that align with all else I’ve seen it’s a def no go. As of 6 months ago they were paying a grand total of $100/day to do 5 days of orientation but now that’s no more. They’ve kept to the same 1099 pay scale as well which is laughable. And O found another address for them in Needville, TX Also GenOx does their orientation and they supposedly require you to have mountain driving experience.
