Had a good week, and was home by 0930 on Friday for a nice three day weekend.

I left Michigan Monday morning and picked up a load of sand in Ohio going to Tennessee. Delivered that and then bounced to Jackson, Tennessee and picked up a load of Zorba going to North Little Rock.

Swung by the terminal to get my trailer issue addressed and the trailer serviced. From there I loaded another load of sand going to Jackson, Mississippi for a same day delivery. The next morning I loaded Ferrous manganese at a river port in New Orleans going up to a steel mill in Columbus, Mississippi for another same day delivery.

Then I bounced into Alabama to pick up a load of lightweight going to a concrete plant in Florida for a Monday delivery.

I did get paid for the 21 hour delay the previous week in NC. They paid me $530 in detention.

Well @runningman0661 you’ve been part of the bucket brigade for awhile now.. what do you think? What are any pros and cons you have thus far?

It’s definitely different from Van freight, it’s growing on me. Shorter length of haul, but don’t have to run myself or my equipment into the ground to make good money.
