And it also shows how some can’t figure it out by themselves.

I screwed up a few weeks ago. There's a way in motive to flag drive time as PC or YM. It still shows as drive in the graph and there's a notation starting it was approved as a non-drivetime status, and it didn't screw up the clocks.
It's now done that way to allow the DOT to easily see drive time edits. -
The instructions say that the administrator can put a note in at the office saying to "ignore" drive time. That is in case you go over 20 mph while you are at some big warehouse. That would be what your company is doing. We haven't got to that point yet because it keeps tripping us at 5 mph into some type of "hybrid" drive time. It doesn't go against the driving clock, but you can't do anything with it, either.Last edited: Apr 27, 2026 at 3:32 AM

After the conversations the two of us have had with Motives general tech people this week, we have decided they aren't just a couple fries short of a happy meal, somebody completely forgot to put any fries in.
I managed to get them to pass the problem to the "senior tech support engineer" and she had it fixed by the end of the day (10 pm).
Now all of our trucks switch from yard move to drive at 20 mph.Last edited: May 2, 2026 at 7:29 PM
