I think they might be eyeballing the spot under the beacon light for a potential living spot.

 

Checkered Flag last night, I just still call it Grandma's. Old habits..

Grabbed that chorizo skillet from the Iowa 80 kitchen.

They had breakfast buffet going on too that looked pretty decent..

 

It's dry man. Rain snow...I'll take either one.

 

Wow, sorry to see that. Would have been very cool to just have it refurbished and left 100 percent stock.

 

I would like it looking unrestored, but my thing is I would drive it to Hell and back. Modern power plant, a real double overdrive manual, AC and power steering, a big disc brakes.

If I can’t get in a drive it across the continent, I don’t want it. I’d rather own a rusty POS with half a million miles than some pristine matching numbers car that’s 60-70 years old with less than 50 miles on it.

Current situation

 

My how equipment has evolved since my experience with farming in the 70s.

 

I like originality myself as well. He has or has a 68 Chevelle drop top and a 55 Chevy 2 door. I put the 4 spd in the 55 for him probably 16 years ago, it’s still setting in the garage where it was at that time….
