What if it Snows?

Strange, times change I guess. They always asked me WHY??. So I gave them chapter and verse...
Was privileged to give that summation to two of the ones who actually hired me and had outlined the promises.
One that fired me; told me why, so I learned from him.....

 

1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water.
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup grape seed oil.
2 tablespoons rib/chop rub.

this is the spice pack. Works good on pork and beef.

It's eleven (11) somewhere. Appears to a 1897 machine. Looks to be all there except the middle drawer. But. The undercarriage wood piece that I thought would fit mine , will not. The four (4) drawer middle drawer is narrower than my six (6) drawer cabinet. Oh well. Twenty five (25) bux. Lady knew all my aunts and uncles and cousins lol.

Yeah, and If my pick; "Great White" had been properly handled and got in the gate, he would have lapped them all and been back in his stall on his 2nd bale....The horse had strength and get up you will admit.... I did tell my folks in KY (who always have a bet free selection list) I liked his 58 to 1 odds and some comments on his breeding.
2 daughters, 1 SIL, 2 Grand daughters and none of them hit.... Why we Johnson's have money and stay home on race days....

 

A really "My kind of Plate" up to the missing chunk of onion and cornbread.

 

Raised on black eyed peas, pintos, potato salad, and cornbread. And smoked ham, shoulders, and middling bacon. With timely repairs to the old frame, made it to 90. Must have been something I ate.

Loved onion. Would eat it with my raisin bran if had one cut. Lived with Momma till graduated HS and out to work.
All those year, I never or very seldom had a cold. Got out in the world, renting rooms and driving jobs and started getting colds.
Peggy said; when I cited my claim, it is because no one can stand your onions to get close enough to infect you.
Wrong, we had 3 beautiful little girls in 5 years of marriage.
