Probably have to go with regular flatbed for now. The one I had in mind is in Florida and you're not in the hiring area for it.

I was contemplating responding to your post or just ignoring it, but I figure that I should respond whether you listen or not. You’re messing up. You are talking when you should be listening.
You want to heavy haul, correct? You can work for Swift and Melton and TMC for 30 years and still not be prepared for heavy haul. Hauling and strapping sticks and bricks are a waste of time. Those guys that told you that 5 years of securing at Swift are stupid.
Your next step should be to work for a specialized company. EW Wylie, ATS, Transport America…jobs like those that will have you pulling OSOW and maxing out a 5 axle rig, running with pilot cars, doing crane moves and rig moves.
Instead of getting caught up in your feelings, why not make the effort to actually learn?
When someone said that you weren’t ready, you responded. You’re not trying to understand. If you were, you would have asked Uncle Elmer where were you lacking and what should be your next step. Real simple.
Anyway, since I don’t know you, I am going to see my way out. I would wish you luck, but we make our own luck.
Six back quiet.gentleroger, blairandgretchen, ElmerFudpucker and 5 others Thank this.
