Have you ever had a chance to see this engine?
It’s very cool. The steam whistle is very nice, great sound. Calming really.

It surely is an impressive sight. It's been through here a couple times and they overnighted about 8 miles from here. Got to get a good look at it.

It’s based out of the Cheyenne shop. They have another steam engine there as well, Northern 844. It is a passenger engine. They used to have a challenger running. I think it has been fully retired.
The challengers were sort of a smaller version of the big boys. You can take a tour of the steam shop. Get to see them on the tracks often, run through Cheyenne quite a bit.
