    Very good question.

I suppose that’s how the new breed does it.

I have been off the road less than a decade but I remember going entire shifts without ever hearing anyone on the C.B. Got to a point where when I went to Superior I didn't even bother to move it over. Virtually nobody ever talked on it, and what little talk I heard it was just junk. I can't think of a single time it saved me. I drove from 06 to 2018 for reference, OTR for the most part. If I were going back on the road tomorrow I doubt it would be high on my priority list.

One thing I really hated was when I would forget to turn it off when I hit the bunk. I would just start to drift off and some jerk would key up, and I would have to leave my nice warm bunk to turn the dang thing off. The first noise it made all day was of course, right then, lol!

Naw, women of interest usually put the number on a blank file folder and stick it in the pass side window, easily visible when they pass.
Solid tip.... A blast of the air horn as soon as noticed will result in a smooth pace along until you can get voice dialing up and working.

Lady working Benson to Tucson in the day just wore a knitted top and slowly cruised the distance. Had a nice blue w/white top Olds 88.

Aren't we all supposed to use our horns to communicate? Lumping an entire ethnicity together and assigning a broad characterization is unequivocally and categorically racist. Don't complain about me "playing the race card" because you played it first.

Jesus  everything is racist these days. That word has gotten thrown around so much it no longer carries any weight.

    I suspect it’s only got a 5w bulb.

Culture vs ethnicity aren’t one of the same. Different ethnic groups can have the same culture. Not all countries have a single ethnic group but share the same cultural habits.

First time someone has hinted at me being a racist on TTR..I’ve been called a lot of things but..

Just curious. Driving at highway speed, how exactly did this other driver manage to "ask" you if you have a radio? That little detail of your interesting story comes across as entirely made up.
