CAT Scale & Comdata Card

use comdata card as a credit card. inform the cashier its a corperate card.

 

Yes, comdata works with the cat scale app. When you enter the card number, use ALL the numbers. One bit is swifts account, the other is your identifier.

The only question is "does swift allow it?", which your fm can answer.

Its up to how your company has it setup, I have always used my fuel cards for CAT, up at Heartland had to call Heartland to set it up

 

Your Comdata card SHOULD allow you to pay for:

• Diesel fuel (away from a company terminal that supplies fuel)
• DEF (same as above)
• Scale fees (usually at a Cat scale)

As suggested above -- your fleet mgr (or whoever gave you your Comdata card, back in the office area) should indeed be able to explain in detail for what you can/can't use it.
