I bought a 2022 Cascadia/DT12 and would like to enable performance mode for shifting, I've changed several parameters but cant figure this one out. ex Schneider truck if it matters, the most conservative shift logic I've ever encountered 1100-1300 rpm no matter what. I (almost) feel bad for all the times I've MF'd Schneider drivers for managing to pull out in front of me when they could see me coming for a least a 1/4 mile.

Yes I have a legit copy of DDDL, I've googled on this for 45 min and even went through the programing manual (both were equally useless) and spent most of the day combing through every parameter with no luck

I can see parameter for dt12 enable performance but the only pull down is inactive. I also checked my old company truck that has performance mode enabled and the enable performance parameter was the same (only pull down was inactive)

    Thank You
    Jay

You probably saw this or something similar. how do i enable performance mode for dt12 using dddl - Google Search

Can 2017 Cascadia DT12 Transmission Be Reprogrammed?
This is what he says. "If your software isn't configured with this option based on its factory setup, you can have your dealer reconfigure it."

Option deleted from order. Otherwise drivers will try to change. Needs a dealer hookup to change.
If buying from Schneider they may not change it. Had an O/O that had that problem.

Whoever owned the truck before you has it locked down so their drivers could not mess with it.
A dealer can go in the back door and change it.

It is going to depend on the version of DDDL you have. The version they sell to ordinary customers is pretty limited. To get a fully unlocked version you will probably have to buy a bootleg copy.

Pull up the About Box and look for the Access Levels section. The Read Level, Write Level, and Hardware Level values can have a maximum value of 10. What are those values for your version?

Even with all 10's there is still one version higher, which I haven't been able to score a copy of yet. There are a few Freightliner specific values in the CPC section that only that version can change.
