It’s definitely different from Van freight, it’s growing on me. Shorter length of haul, but don’t have to run myself or my equipment into the ground to make good money.

Friend, RStewart, 48Packard and 8 others Thank this.

Left the house Monday @ 0400 and delivered my load in Bell, Florida. From there I went South of Tampa and picked up a load of pot ash going up to Lake city, Fl.

From there I bounced to Opelika, Alabama and picked up a load of Aluminum scrap and delivered that to a steel mill in Tuscaloosa. I went seven miles and picked up a short run (Ferro manganese) and ran up to Columbus, Mississippi. I did two of these short runs, and will be paid miles + %.
The next morning I picked up a load of lightweight in Livingston, Alabama going to Minden, Louisiana.

This morning I loaded Urea in Donaldsville, Louisiana that will deliver Monday morning In Douglas, Ga. I was back home today (Friday) by noon.

The last 3 weeks have been consistent, all three weeks I netted over $4100 to the house, I will take $1000 out each week for quarterly taxes and maintenance. I’m getting in the groove, and enjoying being home more.

RStewart, motocross25, Friend and 12 others Thank this.

I probably would have known that if I had stuck with that mixer job more than 3 days.

    Thank you sir.

It’s funny reading some of these places you’re going to, I used to bring that stuff to bell and still consistently bring that pot ash up to mayo, we’re bound to cross paths one of these days. Glad you’re starting to find your groove, it’s good work.
