Google Iowa Customs
They make a ton of cool stuff including lowered seat bases. High quality stuff but not cheap. You can buy through Raneys or 4 State Trucks.
Since I'm here, let me beg a bit of advice - After 50 years I'm ready to diversify away from 100% snap binders. I'm wanting the shortest overall length and folding handles.
Any recommendations? Kinda leaning towards Peerless from Mytee Products

I have 16 of the Peerless folding handle binders that Ive been using for probably 10 years now. 8 of the 5/16-3/8 and 8 of the 3/8-1/2. I did managed to sheer the roll pin for one of the little thumb flips on one but it still works just fine. I would recommend just cutting off the rubber grips when you get them. Over time they stretch out and just start spinning on the body of the binder making it hard to hold onto.

Thank You!
Exactly the feedback I'm looking forTug Toy, cke, JolliRoger and 1 other person Thank this. -
Not a fan of the folding handles.
Had one fold over while really cranking and broke my wrist.
I agree with taking the rubber off.Razororange, Tug Toy, sawmill and 3 others Thank this. -
For binders. Get the ratchet binders that you can use with an impact gun.

Somehow some way it looks like he might of got away without destroying the block n crank? Looks like the piston broke around wrist pin? The bottom of liner broke off and the piston ####ed itself into the broken liner into the water jacket? I’m not sure what stated it but somehow I don’t think the block is damaged?
The crank and flywheel are definitely not connected anymore… guessing it broke the bolts?
Rugerfan, Feedman, Flint1 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Wow.

Is that a fracture I see in that rod too?Feedman Thanks this. -
No I don’t think so? There was only one small piece of the steel liner in the pan. Everything else was aluminum and the 2 clips…

This is for sure a danger. I try to only pull on them. Have to be careful pushing.
I've also bent the handle on one of mine doing bad things to it with a 3ft pipe trying to make a load lower when it wasn't heavy enough to take the arch out of the trailer. Binder is still fine just has a banana handle now.
Only reason I have folding handles is so they all fit better inside a 16" deep box with a row of chains behind them.
The binders that live on my big trailer are all solid handles since space is not an issue.IH Truck Guy and Rugerfan Thank this.
