All I am seeing down here along i-10 is Trans-Mex 2 plate trucks.

 

Why would you run a doc check on yourself you know what is on it.And how do you check your work history are you calling past employers and asking them if you worked there.You sound ridiculous

 

Wait....retired drivers from the 70's and 80's? Assuming they retired at 65, that means they're pushing 100 years old!
How did you find them? Or am I just reading too much into this?
Now that I think about it....current SWFT drivers from the 80's or current drivers from the 80's? Can't imagine 4 decades of indentured servitude to Swift.

 

I'm sure Swift has million milers, as do the other bottom feeders.

 

There’s guys that will work 30 or more years at a factory doing the same repetitive thing over and over for the simple fact that they don’t ever feel like going somewhere else or doing anything else. I’m sure trucking companies get some of those kind too.

 

That, and they have seniority, WRT vacation, promotions, days off, etc.
