It depends on where you're at. I've never made good money on the east coast. Certain terminals are just not good for how I like to run. The bad terminals in my opinion have always been...

    055 West Middlesex
    024 Harrisburg

Notorious BS terminals. Ask that lazy bum @jtaran06

We also have a bunch of new people in central. They have no clue what they're doing bro. It's very frustrating. I've sent to the east coast 5 straight weeks and haven't made nowhere close to what I made my first two weeks out with the OG dispatchers I know.

Bro Estes is better period... It's still not even close. I wouldn't leave Estes because of this. If it just got to the point where I'm extremely pissed I'd just either transfer to Arlington or get off the board. These new dispatchers in my region have no clue what they're doing

Ok, so let me break down my week last week and explain my frustration. Ask that lazy bum @jtaran06 to confirm what I'm saying. So, my week starts stupid and I'm confused on the dispatch given the lane doesn't make sense. So...

Home - West Chester Township, OH (Cincinnati) (498 miles)

First off, this makes no sense because the proper terminal would be Columbus, OH. I call Central dispatch and get an OG dispatcher. He puts me on empties to Columbus. After I'm already gone, I call him back to dispatch me and he said take the same trailers instead but I'm gone lol. He's pissed and wondering why I went there to begin with? I told him it made no sense but they're the big Dawgs so I did as I was told. So I go to Columbus.

West Chester Township, OH - Columbus, OH (95 miles)

Now this terminal is a RED SPOT and a leery one because it CAN go very left. By left, I mean... East Coast. AT ESTES, THE EAST COAST IS A DEATH SENTENCE. I've never made money there... Ever. Well, not like Texas but it's frustrating because you'll have very long days. So...

Columbus, OH - Harrisburg, PA (384 miles)

Now, when I get here I talk to ANOTHER OG dispatcher. He's LAUGHING when he picks up the phone and in disbelief. He's like "dude, what are you doing way in PA?" He's even confused as to why I'm anywhere near there when a terminal like Knoxville is slammed and can't move freight because there aren't enough drivers. I'm up here where there's no freight. He tells me he's gonna send me empty to Richmond, VA and to wait until 2000 the next night to call and talk to him again. So...

Harrisburg, PA - Richmond, VA (217 miles)

I wait and still don't get John lol. I should've left 3 hours ago but I did get another chill easy coast guy I talked to prior.

Richmond, VA - Aberdeen, NC (222 miles)
Aberdeen, NC - Charlotte, NC (107 miles)
Charlotte, NC - Columbia, SC (104 miles)
Columbia, SC - Charlotte, NC (104 miles)

    Next Day

Charlotte, NC - Atlanta, GA (258 miles)
Atlanta, GA - Birmingham, AL (158 miles)
Birmingham, AL - Huntsville, AL (87 miles)
Huntsville, AL - Nashville, TN (128 miles)

    Last Day

Nashville, TN - Birmingham, AL (198 miles)
Birmingham, AL - Olive Branch, MS (219 miles)
Olive Branch, MS - HOME (10 miles) LOL

So yeah... That was the week. I did 2789 miles. Not bad but I used up 55 or so hours with all the on duty. I definitely worked hard for it.

Now today, which is technically still in the same pay period, I asked them to send me to Houston. They agreed so I'm on my way to Houston.

Home - Houston, TX (580 miles)

You add that and now it's 3369 miles.

I'm going to do a 34 in Houston so I already got my stuff packed and I'm ready to party. I'm gonna stay at a nice hotel and I already got women there so I'm chilling. I decided to do a 34 to get a jump on next week. No way I can go east when I'm already in Houston.

I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled some shenanigans tho.

That's been my Ted talk guys.

Really quick, so I'm chilling and just so happen to check the dashboard and see a dispatch lol. They tried to send me from Houston to Birmingham, AL. Keep in mind I have 7 hours on the 70 lol. Man, I called them and had that removed. That's a BIG MONEY run for sure, but best believe it's a trap to get you right back to the east coast lol.

Nope! I resume work tomorrow around 4pm.

Ok boys so... Weekend was great. Definitely had fun and everything so back to the real world. Sunday was just like I expected... I was sent home. The plus is I did talk to one of the OG dispatchers. She ensured me I'd be good and she kept her word.

Houston, TX - HOME (580 miles)
HOME - Dallas, TX (472 miles)

Now, I'm not mad at this. One of the office women was so happy to see me she came from the back to hug me lol. Now, she did say Arlington is DEAD right now and Dallas has most of the freight. The terminal looked barren to me so idk. I will see in the morning. Hoping for El Paso or STL. Both are huge runs for big money.

Sometimes they're hooked for you but most time you'll be hooking your own sets playa. Takes about 2 months but could be faster. I'm excited for you
