You’ve got that right the scale houses should be doing something about this and they’re not hard to spot and they don’t seem to care if anyone sees them doing it
In the 80s and 90s, you would’ve been barbecued for something like that because we got pulled over for looking wrong

I don’t care what you wanna call me, but I’ve noticed nine out of 10 times it’s a foreign driver and I Hit my horn so they will open their curtain and give me the bird lol

This has to be one of the most dangerous things I’ve ever seen, and they will change lanes like that with that little slit in the front that they can see their mirrors through, but it doesn’t let them see left or right so I have to make an emergency move into the left lane to get away from them

The problem I have is it’s not just the driver side. They do it on the passenger side too, so I don’t wanna hear the son argument and after 39 years of driving, I don’t remember us ever being that worried about the sun

the same drivers have their feet on the dash too not just one but both

thanks to my cameras on the mirrors I can get vids of exactly who the violators are

they’ve noticed a trend with the foreign driver fatalities where they run into a bunch of stopped vehicles that they don’t even try to hit the brakes

That’s because sometimes it’s hard to get your feet off the dash fast enough they must panic

    Trucking is In big trouble

Sounds like you missed your calling to be a cop. And sounds like you should spend more time driving your truck than trying to drive theirs.

Sounds real safe to get all hot and sweaty trying to get video of the 'violators'. I'm sure it's going to do you a lot of good. You should definitely report them right away. Nothing will be done but you'll feel better and you feeling better about yourself seems to be mostly what your post is about.

    It sounds like you’re ignorant
You must b ok with truck drivers putting you and everyone else at risk by pulling their curtain while driving

it’s one of the most unsafe things I’ve ever seen or heard of and how can you see out your windows with the curtain over them? That’s not driving someone else’s truck knucklehead

Nothing I’m seeing on the road. Makes me feel better about trucking, but now I know who you are

If you’re not concerned with what’s going on, then you’re part of the problem

I have a dash cam that doesn’t require any effort on my part to get pictures of these guys
You must be one of those guys that are all allergic to light and pull their curtains on their driver side and passenger side, putting everyone at risk

have you been paying attention to all the fatalities from unqualified drivers and the last high profile fatalities the investigators can’t figure out why they didn’t try hitting the brakes, that’s because they can’t get their feet off the dash in time to stop and all truckers should care about that

Real professional truck drivers don’t want idiots on the road doing the wrong things

I was hoping someone could explain why a driver would have the urge to block their driver side window and passenger side if it’s just about the sun

Nothing about trucking after 39 years driving truck makes me feel good seeing how the Industry is on a race to the bottom

Real professional American truck drivers are all upset and concerned over the direction things are going

I’ve put more miles backing up than you’ve gone forward there rookie

if you cared about the trucking industry and what it is meant to be a professional, American truck driver you Wouldn’t be running your mouth and you might’ve put forward a way to get these issues resolved

I’m 60 years old with another year left doing this so it’s on you if you’re willing to roll over and watch this profession get ruined

that’s the biggest problem with young drivers and foreign drivers you’re just tourists passing through making a quick buck

myself and other professional drivers take this seriously as you should

Too many of the young drivers and foreign drivers are just tourists passing through trying to make a quick buck with no concern for the profession or other people on the road

Na, you don't know who I am at all. And you don't know who they are either, or what they can see, based on having a curtain pulled up from the side.

Sorry I haven't responded sooner Rookie, I was slathering sunscreen all over my arm from the 30+ years of commercial driving that has torn up my left arm.

Trucks nowadays have cameras everywhere and I've never seen anyone with a curtain pulled up far enough to not be able to see out of their mirror.

Man, some of this garbage you're regurgitating is pure BS. First off, how many generations has your family been here? You're a foreigner just like they are, just a little earlier to the party, and all this crap about the industry getting ruined, that's every industry driver. And it's every generation thinking the glory days are all gone and nothing is like it used to be and we were better, young people suck, kids have no work ethic, yada yada yada.

Filming and reporting drivers just makes you a Karen, if you aren't too old to know what that means. Google it, or search it on the internet if you don't know what Google is.

I'm 52 and simply have a different perspective. It's not young people or foreigners ruining the industry, the industry is just changing. And what about your kids? What do they do for a living? I'm sure they are the best and the brightest and you worked hard to put them through college so they wouldn't become truck drivers, right? Because no one wants to do that right? LMAO. Foreigners drive trucks because it's a job they can get and they can do, but you're rationalizing from the start assuming all bad trucker habits are 'kids and foreigners'.

Just because a guy in this industry looks different from you doesn't mean he's not born and bred here.

And we're all here to make a quick buck. So are the company owners, who are the ones who have really ruined the industry.

Get out of the truck once in awhile, dude, and broaden your perspective a little.

Or piss and moan your way into an early grave. The job is what you make it, as it's always been.
