How do I identify if it is a single or double disc?

    Each is a different adjustment.

There should be a number stamped on it.

Single disc pull type should have 3/4” gap and no brake. Am I remembering this correctly? Sychronized trans?

Double disc is non synchronized with clutch brake - 1/2”

    Been too long….

What is an Fl60? I found nothing on line. The single disc units I remember had diaphragm pressure plates. At least some and maybe all were adjusted on a threaded sleeve and jam not around the input shaft. Pictures?
As long as you have free play and can get it in gear you should be good either way. I also dislike when they release at the the wrong distance in pedal travel.
