Not not asking HIM. That's asking the airwaves overall. Trucking is an a detail and precision business. I don't assume anything that isn't directly stated.

Take a walk. The logic of your criticism is severely flawed. Figure that out on your own.

"Trucking is an a detail and precision business. " Good grammar!

“Come on over end dump that’s a slow one in front of you”

    “Thanks, appreciate it”

That’s today’s example while left lane rolling at 75 mph on 287 Texas. Was a hood so odds were good that they’d have a radio on.

I gave up on trying to pass info on to the plastic truck crowd but 90% of the time I get a response from someone driving a large car.

Have you ever tried turning it on?
It's the knob on the left above where the mic plugs in.

Late to the party, I guess. I got myself a CB radio when I started truck driving 8 years ago (after 20 years of bus driving), and I’ve noticed a really significant drop in the number of drivers using them in that time. I rarely even turn mine on anymore (though I do hook it up whenever I get a new truck). I have it on in bad weather, and I sometimes turn it on in a traffic jam, though I generally turn it back off after I figure out the situation.

Oxbow and Diesel Dave Thank this.

How much should one expect to send on an upper end (not top of the line, but good) cb radio?
    Brands?
    Websites?
    Thank you.
