Please cut sugar and carbs

    Sardines taste funny but they're extremely nutritious, give them a chance. You will get used to the taste

    Hard pass lol. I can do a lot of canned fish, but sardines are an absolutely hard pass. Even the smell makes me want to retch let alone the taste which induces instant vomiting. And i actully like canned cod and herring, so yea something about sardines is just vile to me.

    Now when you guys say bad carbs... I understand bread, what are other bad carbs?

    All of them lol. The only good carb is the one produced by your liver. And liver's job is not to serve the taste buds

    Theres some debate on it depending on who you ask. But generally fast food, sugary food (cake, doughnuts,chocolate, coffee based drinks...yes seriously a LOT of packaged coffee drinks are heavily added to, black coffee is fine) heavily procces wheat based items bread being a prime example, white or bleached rice. Badically anything heavily refined, bleached or with a ton of sugar.

    Its because the refineing and/or bleaching process strips a HUGE percentage of the actual good things in grain out and they add it back artifically but its not nearly the right mix to be healthy. And that applies to stuff like oils made from grain too.

    The good carbs are going to be whole wheat thats been slow milled or ideally one of the older varitys with less gluten in it, veggys like sweet potato, lentils, beans, oats, real rye bread. Basically anything thats fully intact and/or processed in such a way as to maintain all the good #### thats SUPPOSED to be in it that makes it easier to both digest and ballances out or negates the negitive side effects.

    Like whole apple vs. apple juice. On top of that juices have added sugar :eek:

    Haha! I’ve given them a chance! 20 years later I still can’t stomach them. How many years do you reckon it’s gonna take :(
