Never had much luck with sardines tbh. Only caught a few with em and they were runty as hell so went back in the drink. I tend to have way better luck with crawdads and frozen shrimp for catfish and smelt for pike woth leeches for the walleyes. Or at least the ones in the lakes around me orefer those baits.

I think its because so many of the tourists use the sardines and minnows that the fish have gotten wise.

Yes....you do need carbs. Some carbs. Carbs with high fiber. Complex carbs don't cause as high of a spike. In fact, all of what I listed slows the spike because they're very slow to break down. I've made adjustments to my diet once I my doctor told me my sugar was too high. Going with complex carbs in moderation brought my A1C down. Moderation is the operative word here. Eliminating sweets, alcohol, and soda helps too. Appreciate the video.

White rice and white bread was mentioned, but French fries, white potatoes of any kind, potato chips...now i did read somewhere that if you get a baked potato, and you eat the skin, it slows the sugar spike because the skin breaks down slower. That's actually where the nutrition is. My mom is diabetic and she ate some bean nachos a d was surprised her sugar didn't spike. It was because she had the beans with the tortilla chips. The beans slowed the spike. If you eat something sweet, follow it with a soluble fiber. That keeps the sugar in check.

Like I said before, the difference in the sugar spike is very small. Invest in a small glucose monitor and test it yourself. You will be surprised. All this whole grain thing is marketing. Fat and protein are your best friends, they have been your best friends for half a million years. Don't believe the scammers, eat as much fatty beef as you want, and eat as many whole eggs as you want, you will be perfectly healthy as long as you do not pair them with carbs

I was on a 72 hour sardine fast few months ago, and I had the best bowel movement I've ever had. Fat is awesome

Folks, also stay away from seed oils. They process them at such extreme temperatures they turn them into used diesel oil.

    The dose is the poison.

    Goes for YouTube too.

I don't think I'll be getting diet advice from there.

I've done diets where I completely cut carbs and felt like absolute crap the entire time.

You need carbs for energy. Just not carbs like sugar or HFCS (worse than sugar).

Complex carbs won't cause an intense sugar spike.
