I’m too fat for tires

 

I had to demount and mount a couple 24.5's in my late teens as part of my apprenticeship training and thankfully that was the one and only time I've had to do it. I don't even like doing ATV or automotive tires with a tire machine.

 

Just be happy you all never had to deal with split rims, the pucker factor was real!

 

Still see them on equipment. I let tire guys deal with them too lol.

 

Always loved that song. Mostly when I was still imbibing, but it still sounds good and brings back memories....some good, some bad.

 

Shop coworkers always wondered why any time i worked with splits, it always went in the cage.
Then one day, they figured it out. The young buck had to go take a shower and change clothes. Fortunately no injuries.
Not sure what actually happened, suspect he got the tube pinched.
