    Were you downtown by any chance when the seaplane landed on the street? Once in a lifetime event; as Lots of planes have landed on highways, but a seaplane..... downtown ??

    No. But I has seen numerous aircraft land within 50 feet of me traveling at very high rates of speed.

    In fact I was in a few of them.

    My wife was like that. Did not want to start something soon enough to enjoy. Took me a while to shift her thinking to the faster way.
